Fluid Coupling Support Tools: Fluidomat Shaft Alignment Jigs

Fluidomat offers range of alignment jigs of various types and sizes for different applications. These alignment jigs are rugged and simple to use without need of special skills.
Proper alignment of drive with machines is of great value:

Different types of Alignment Jigs by Fluidomat meet specific requirements of alignment for their different types of fluid couplings. There is also a range suitable for general types of flexible couplings like Pin bush, gear, metallic disc type and other types of flexible couplings.

We offer following types of Alignment Jigs.
• Type HFT: For alignment of shafts where following sizes and types of Fluidomat Fluid Couplings with large DBSE (Distance Between Shaft Ends) are used. Offered in 3 models and covers entire range of fluid coupling type STD/E, T12, HF, HFD and HF-DX. Alignment of shafts done first and then fluid coupling installed thus achieving very good accuracy of alignment.

• Type SMG: for alignment of Fluidomat hollow shaft fluid coupling type SM, SMD, SMDX, SMAR, CBSF & WF. Alignment done after installing fluid coupling on hollow shaft and then the alignment done between to flexible coupling of fluid coupling and the connecting shaft.

• Type GCF: For alignment of shafts using various types of general flexible coupling having short DBSE like pin Bush, Elastomeric Jaw Type, Grid Coupling, metallic Disc Couplings etc. The flexible coupling must have flanged hub atleast on one side.
  
  Offered only one size but with 4 different sizes of chains and adjustable sliding flats. All together offered as a set.
  
  Alignment done after installation of flexible coupling halves on respective shafts.

• Type GCH: For alignment of shafts using half gear or full gear couplings.
  
  Offered only in one size but with set of 4 different sizes of chains and adjustable sliding flats. All together offered as a set.
  
  All Alignment Jigs will use dial gauge and thus can achieve alignment accuracy of better than 30±10 microns which is adequate for general engineering purpose using motor/machine speeds upto 3000 RPM.
